Butcher to run our organic butchery
We are recruiting a fully qualified and experienced butcher to run our on-farm organic butchery. The butchery supplies our farm shop, the online home delivery service, the cafe and our wholesale customers. Every week we are butchering beef, lamb and pork and at Christmas we also butcher our own turkeys. We cure our own bacon, make our own burgers and sausages and cut much of our meat to order for customers. The butcher also works directly with the farm and our fellow organic meat producers to manage butchery through put.
The butchery is presently staffed with a full time butcher and part time packing assistant but it would be for the new butcher to organise his or her own support staff.
This can be a employee position but there is also an opportuntity for a butcher to run the business independently on a self employed basis.
