Mainly planted in Sicily, it's wild strawberry and cherry character is sure to delight. Light to medium bodied, the sweet jamminess of the fruit is brilliantly offset by tangy acidity. There's a faint hint of cinnamon too, tannins are soft, it's hugely enjoyable. The locals enjoy this red lightly chilled with fish dishes. Long and crisp on the finish with the signature Frappato saline nuance. Lean tannins, but will be excellent with food. Great stuff.'
