WE ARE CURRNTLY NOT ACCEPTING ANY BOOKINGS FOR VISITS DUE TO THE COVID 19 OUTBREAK
Normally, Whitmuir is an open farm and you are welcome to visit any day.
And we normally hosts many guided farm visits - from Chinese scientists finding out about small scale community supported agriculture to the humble nursery class wanting to collect eggs.
On the farm we reared beef cattle, pigs, sheep and turkeys for Christmas. We also grew vegetables and soft fruit and kept hens for eggs. We had an on-farm butchery, farm shop, production and catering kitchen and cafe.
We worked closely with Whitmuir Community Benefit Society who ran the 2000m2 project funded by the Climate Challenge Fund and they also hosted a limited number of school visits and community growing and cooking sessions.

Fees for Farm Visits
The farm unfortunatelly does not receive any public funding for educational work and we therefore have to make a nominal charge for staff time and to cover the costs of any catering.
All the food is organic and all dietary requirements can be catered for.
As well as matching the content to meet the needs of your group, we can match your budget.
